Privacy

Plain language, because you should know exactly what we keep.

What we store

  • Your email address, and a first name if you gave one.
  • The telemetry your devices send, for 90 days, in your own tenant.
  • An audit log of sign-ins and account actions (sign-up, device created, token rotated) for 30 days, with the request's IP address.
  • Which class code you signed up with, if any — so your instructor can see their roster.

What we do not do

  • No third-party analytics, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data.
  • No passwords stored by the portal: sign-in is handled by our identity service (Keycloak), and your device tokens are stored only in ThingsBoard, inside your tenant.

Who can see what

  • You see everything in your tenant. Other students see nothing of yours.
  • An instructor who issued your class code sees your email, your device count and message volume — not your data.
  • Platform administrators can access tenants for support and abuse handling; every such access is logged.

Age. You must be 18 or older to sign up on your own. Younger students join only through a class code from their school, which is responsible for consent.

Delete. Ask us to delete your account and everything in your tenant is removed within 7 days. Contact: the address shown in the portal footer.
